I didn’t think this kind of discovery was still possible, but apparently someone in Melbourne lucked onto a suitcase believed to have belonged to Mal Evans containing four and a half hours of undocumented Beatles recordings. Mark Lewisohn, for one, is skeptical—he’s probably right, but it’s tantalisingly close to plausible.
