I like Fiona Apple, enough to think that the Free Fiona campaign to pressure Sony into releasing her third LP Extraordinary Machine needs to expand its focus in order to dissuade her from the temptation to abandon making records in order to become a songwriter for hire like Danielle Brisebois and Gregg Alexander (Carly Hennessy), Andy McCluskey (Atomic Kitten), and Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue) have.
