No Longer Alone

Carl Magnus Palm has an announcement about the Frida Polar catalogue remasters (notably, Frida ensam).

And, if you’re fortunate enough to have a proper, viewer-responsible NBC affiliate (i.e. if you live outside Cleveland), the overnight feed of Saturday Night Live is the 1975 episode containing ABBA’s appearance. WKYC is probably airing another Matlock in its place.

Eve: Not Frank; Gwen: Not Fruit

Because of the fact that she is brought in to duet on seemingly every other pop remix single, Matt said “Eve is the Frank Sinatra of our generation.” Which might be uncomfortably close to the truth. We’ve gone from Steve and Edie to Eve and Stefani.

“This shit is bananas.” What can one say to that?

Shatner Transformed

Too good not to share: a newly-constructed clip for William Shatner’s infamous recording of “Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds”. Yes, I know he meant to exaggerate wildly (or in Star Trek English, “to wildly exaggerate”), and that it’s a part of a (recently-reissued) concept album, The Transformed Man. I was still in tears.
