Russell T Davies, in discussing the Easter special Planet of the Dead, offhandedly reveals that the companion in David Tennant’s swan song will be Bernard Cribbins returning as Wilf Mott. I am unbelievably chuffed about this.

This Friday, The Late Show with David Letterman will air the Bill Hicks appearance they pulled in October 1993. (This came by way of Sacred Cow.)

Somehow I failed to make the connection that we were married on Patrick McGoohan’s birthday (strictly coincidental, I assure you) until I read The Guardian’s obituary earlier today… I had to have taken notice the last time we watched “Arrival”.

I have not been following news of the AMC remake but I am impressed that they’ve licensed the whole of the original series for amctv.com.

Our Christmas was nice, quiet. My father’s health took a nasty turn two days after Christmas Day but he is recovering at home. Of course it is bitterly cold and snowy here but I don’t mind.
