Bug Music Obtains Badfinger Publishing for NA

1 October 2005, 13:01

Author Dan Matovina has announced new North American publishing deals for Pete Ham and Tom Evans, as their North American publishing rights reverted to their respective estates (similar to the manner in which John Lennon’s share of compositions for Northern Songs prior to 1966 have reverted to Yoko Ono). Although Apple Music Publishing made an offer to continue representation, both estates have signed deals with Bug Music for administration for the US and Canada. (Apple retains publishing rights for the rest of the world as well as continuing to publish Apple-era Badfinger compositions by Joey Molland and Mike Gibbins.)
