First Snowfall

Slept in until after 8 (a singular occurance these days), blinds drawn. As I came out of the bedroom I saw the snowflakes falling. A light snowfall had been predicted, but they didn’t imply accumulation. Caroline wondered if someone had got the wrong holiday memo.
