The Champions!

Deep Discount DVD recently slipped in a listing for A&E’s much-delayed DVD set of The Champions, Caroline’s favourite ITC series. As in the case of The Persuaders! and The Protectors, the series has been split in two DVD collections. This set is most notable for uncharacteristically good-looking design work by New Video, and the fact that the release date had been postponed and moved enough times to create doubt that it would surface this year. (If you have a multistandard player, or reside in Region 2, the 8-disc Carlton set has already been available for months.)
